01
Fixed or random
Set a number of days and watch them go down. Or set a range, let the
server roll somewhere inside it, and find out when you find out. A rolled number never
appears on the page โ you get days elapsed and that's it. Either way, you can hide the
clock entirely.
02
Ceiling and floor
A ceiling is a date you're guaranteed to be out by. A floor is a date
nothing can get you out before. Everything that touches your clock gets clamped by both,
including the parts you handed to somebody else.
03
The wheel
Entirely optional. Cells add time, take time off, freeze the clock, or
set you a dare. Allow one spin per interval, let them stack up while you're not looking, or
leave it unlimited and live with that. On a hidden timer it tells you what landed, not how
big it was.
04
Share links
Send someone a link and they can add time without making an account.
You decide the most one person can add at once, and the most the link can ever add in
total. Nothing on a share link shortens a lock or opens a combo.
05
Verification photos
You get a six-digit code. Photograph your device with the code in the
shot, which is what proves the picture is from today and not from last Tuesday. Publish one
and other members vote on whether it looks right.
06
Public profiles
Yours lives at /u/you from the day you sign
up: time served, how many locks, what you're in now, your counters, your gallery. Four
switches in Settings turn any of that off. Your combo, notes, devices and share links are
never on it.
07
Hygiene openings
Give yourself a set number of openings and a window for each one.
Starting one hands the combo back. Closing it means setting a new code and
photographing that, so you're properly sealed again instead of just promising you are.
08
Counters and stats
Edge, ruin, locked, unlocked. One tap, and every tap remembers which
lock you were in at the time, so the stats can tell you what actually changed. Devices carry
what you paid and work out their own cost per hour worn.
